A Brief Overview and Introduction

The title of this policy is “PJMR Policy,” and the corresponding document is titled “PJMR Policy Document.” It takes effect immediately.

The journal will publish four issues per volume annually, with each issue published on the last day of the calendar month.

Chapter II

Open Access Policy

PJMR adheres to the principle that free access to research benefits society. All content is available for immediate and unrestricted access.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors retain copyright to their submitted manuscripts. PJMR uses the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License for all publications.

Under this license, readers are free to:

  • Share: Copy and redistribute the content in any medium or format.
  • Adapt: Remix, transform, and build upon the material.

These freedoms are granted under the following conditions:

  • Attribution: Proper credit must be given, including a link to the license, and any modifications must be indicated.
  • Non-Commercial Use: Content may not be used for commercial purposes.

Data Sharing Policy

Authors are required to upload datasets to open-access repositories (e.g., SPSS, Excel) and provide a link within their publication.

Plagiarism Policy

PJMR strictly adheres to academic integrity standards and employs TURNITIN to verify originality. Manuscripts with a similarity index above 19% will be rejected. Cases of plagiarism post-publication will result in article retraction and potential temporary or permanent bans for the authors, in line with HEC guidelines.

Peer Review Policy

PJMR operates a double-blind peer review process. Manuscripts are reviewed by experts from the author’s country and an international institution. Authors are expected to incorporate feedback before final editorial review.

Appeals and Complaints Procedures

  • Appeals: The PJMR Editorial Board addresses disputes over article processing charges, rejections, or delays. The Chief Editor consults the Appeals Committee upon receiving a formal appeal.
  • Complaints: Formal complaints regarding publication malpractice can be submitted via the journal’s official email. These will be referred to the Complaints Process Committee.

Ethics in Publication

The following ethical guidelines govern PJMR’s operations:

  • Ethical Approval and Consent: Research involving human subjects must comply with ethical standards and secure approval from relevant ethics boards.
  • Integrity: Authors must ensure accuracy and transparency, avoiding data fabrication or manipulation.
  • Originality: Manuscripts must be original and not simultaneously submitted to other journals.
  • Authorship: All contributors to the research and manuscript must be acknowledged, and the final manuscript must be approved by all listed authors.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
  • Informed Consent: For studies involving identifiable personal data, written consent from participants or guardians must be obtained in compliance with data protection laws.

Editorial Process

PJMR follows a structured editorial process:

  1. Manuscript submissions are acknowledged within one day.
  2. Peer review by two reviewers is completed within three weeks.
  3. Authors receive feedback and incorporate revisions, if necessary.
  4. Final proofreading is conducted before online publication.

Articles are published in print annually.
